Chocolate's House

Rumah Cokelat or Chocolate's House is a highly recommended novel by Sitta Karina. It is not a book of chocolate but it is telling us about a house that has bitter and sweet thing inside. Just like a chocolate. Being a young mother is not easy. You still want to work and have fun but at the same time you need to take care of your family. No one can be excellent in all.

You must read this novel before you are getting married because the way Sitta tells the story really makes me feel that I am directly involved in the situation.

Another good novel from a good writer, Madre written by Dewi Lestari (known as Dee). Madre is an Italian word for Mother and it contains 13 short stories about motherhood and giving birth. The main story is about a young man that his life has turned up side down after his grandpa's death and meeting relatives that he never knew existed. He started his new life after he met Madre.

Dee is a very talented writer. I am a big fan of her books! And now I am waiting for my friend to give me my "The Coffee Philosophy" book (Filosofi Kopi) that has been best seller in Indonesia. My last visit to Jakarta, this book sold out from all book stores that exist in Jakarta!!

For non-indonesian reader, sorry these books are only available in Indonesian I guess. If it is translated to English, then it is a MUST to read it all! Cause I am pretty sure it is worth to be read!

Valentine's Fever

It's Valentine's fever! You will see girls in the guy store and guys in the girl store. And then a guy is walking alone and carrying Agnes B shopping bag. Well.. Yea it is 2 days before Valentine. Since everyone is in Valentine's Fever, I don't want to be left behind!

Cameras!

I am a BIG fans of camera! If I follow my desire to buy cameras, I don't know what to eat today! I have dslr, polaroid, lomography cameras, old Russian cameras and even toy cameras! It's never enough when it comes to camera! And what I like about film camera is it is always a surprise to see the result! Sometimes, you may feel disappointed when the result isn't the same as what you expected but keep learning from it and you will really be surprise to see the result! :) What I want (not sure if I really nee it) currently are fisheye no.2 pink edition plus FED 5b in neon pink! FED 5b is a range finder camera and I would love to have it! I guess I must try to find it on eBay! Or does anyone want to sell their FED 5b? :)

So yeah I'm not only a fashion freak but also a gadget freak!! geez!

The Rainbow Troops (Drama Musical)

The Rainbow Troops or it is called "Musikal Laskar Pelangi" in Indonesia is actually based from true story by Andrea Hirata's Novel. It was screened in the theatre, and now they have A LIVE DRAMA MUSICAL! I could say that all casts have a very good voice while they are singing! They are just soooo talented! I rate them 6 out of 5!

They had their first show in Jakarta and I couldn't watch it. And someday they had it in Singapore last October! So, without any further delay, I bought the ticket and watched it! (Anyway their ticket was sold out for 3 shows!)

Unfortunately, they had only 3 times show in 2 days during their performance in Singapore. The good news is, if you are staying in Jakarta or planning to go to Jakarta from 24 December 2011 - 7 January 2012, you should go and watch 'em at Dufan, Ancol, North Jakarta!

You will be amazed and get goose bumps for several time during the show because they are just TOO amazing!

Bom Dia!

Last week, I was invited by my friend to the opening of Nando's Restaurant at Tampines! I got so excited because I can eat Nando's again (but this time is for free!). They have a greeting for whoever coming in to the restaurant which I think a new thing at Nando's!

Besides the wild peri chicken as my favorite, I like their branding too! I like their art style as much as I like Starbucks' style :)

Oh My Hair!

I have been thinking about my hair. I want my long hair back after keep renovating my hair hundred times since I had my long hair!

I have ever had this hair style:

After this I had actually cut my hair with different length for left and right side but the photos I have are not really clear to be shown here :)

Afterthat, I dyed my hair in 4+1 different colors which are dark brown as base color and blonde, red, orange as highlight color as well as black when my hair grew longer (okay I kinda hate this situation)!

And today I found this! A very interesting hair color from The Beauty Department and I think I would love to have this color (someday when my hair grows longer at least 5cm from now!) And I'm gonna make sure that I take photo of my hair!

Morning Brew

Last night I spent my whole night reading a novel titled "Morning Brew" by Nina Addison. Story about friendship, love, and how important what your heart says is. Other than the story itself, what I like is the way Nina told the story, how she really gave character from the choices of words. It makes me feel that I am really in the Morning Brew.

I love to use my dark blue sling bag! And today I feel that my bag is kinda heavy so let's take a sneak peek what's inside!

First row - Left to right: my pinky wallet from Charles & Keith and on top of it there are my house key and my EZ link card, a Hello Kitty Pez candy that I just bought (it's just cute til I wanna own it!), my iPod touch, my bb9900, and my all-time favourite drink - POKKA Milk Tea!
